Comtact
a leading managed service provider, has been recognised in the
prestigious IT Europa European Excellence 2012 awards, sweeping the
board and winning vertical solution of the year within the enterprise
category.
Comtact won the prestigious accolade thanks to its innovative WiFi
solution deployed at St Andrew’s Healthcare, the UK’s largest charitable
provider of secure mental healthcare to the NHS. The solution was
deployed as a turnkey wireless solution which allows secure real time
communication, personnel and asset tracking, man down and loan worker
support. In addition to this a number of mobility applications, running
on tablet devices, further enable St Andrew’s to streamline work
processes and enhance patient care.
The IT Europa European Excellence Awards are the only pan-European
awards which recognise the crucial role that solution providers and
systems integrators play in the delivery of real world solutions
attracting entries and stiff opposition from 23 countries.
John Chapman, Editorial Director of IT Europa, said of the win "This was
a really tough category with the most number of entries and some
excellent solutions from right across Europe, so to win is a great
accolade for Comtact."
Dominic List, CEO at Comtact Limited added, “We are delighted to win
such a prestigious European industry award. To be the outright winner
in the increasingly competitive enterprise category is something we are
extremely proud of and have worked hard to achieve. Our close working
relationship with our customer St Andrew’s Healthcare has, without
doubt, enabled us to truly deliver an innovative, up to the minute, WiFi
solution that that keeps their staff safe and supported at all times
and is testament to being picked as the outright enterprise category
winner.”
