International consulting firm BroadGroup has announced the launch of the first regional summit for datacentres across Turkey and CIS countries. The event will take place in Istanbul 27 September 2012.
Datacentres Eurasia will include a special focus on regional and
international enterprise customers of datacentres and their outsourcing
needs, emerging cloud services, new technologies and market development.
Research by BroadGroup
suggests that the Turkey/CIS region is undergoing rapid datacentre
development through local demand, fibre deployment and outsourcing
opportunities across the key metropolitan areas. Azerbaijan, Ukraine and
Kazakhstan in particular have witnessed significant growth.
As a truly Eurasian networking hub, the event will be the largest
regional gathering of datacentre operators, enterprise users, suppliers
and other professional intermediaries engaged in the sector. Attendees
gain special benefits from networking with peers, C level decision
makers and influencers, ongoing business opportunities and lead
generation.
The programme includes a regional leadership panel, a market perspective
of Eurasia, with current trends in demand in datacentre markets across
the region and growth forecasts, datacentre finance and investment,
colocation business models, energy availability and pricing,
sustainability and efficiency in datacentres, modular datacentres, fibre
connectivity and cloud services evolution.
“The programme will provide compelling content focused on this
expanding region,” commented Warwick Dunkley, vice president at
BroadGroup. “The event has an exciting line-up of expert speakers, and
will offer a stellar networking platform for a diverse region that is
poised to experience tremendous growth in the coming years.”
